Hi,
I am lookingto buy an s3 but the stereo unit has an intermittant fault with its power button. When its turned on the volume is either very LOUD or very quiet and takes a few seconds to change the volume. Any ideas on what it could be?
Its the head unit with the power button in the middle as opposed to the one on the left hand side.
Thanks

Hi
I have had the exact same problem. It is a common fault with head units, I am from the uk and have been in touch with audi Hq, but they dont want to know. If i was in your shoes i would opt for a different head unit with maybe an i-pod conection and do away with the cd changer. Some head units are compatible with head up display. If you look on ebay there are Audi head units for sale but the sellers are aware of the volume defect.
