Default Sad question I know but....

I've got a 98 A3 Tdi SE and I wan't to install a cup holder!!!! It's a practical gadget that I miss from my old car, especially when sitting on the motorway for hours. I have two blanked button spaces next to the hazard warning light switch (opposite side to the rear window de-mister switch). I was wandering if V.A.G. group had anything that would fit in there from their other models. Thanks for any help.

Think you have two options here spike...

1) Do you have the slot in the dash (other side of the hazard button) where the cup holder would be fitted? If so, you can buy the mechanism from Audi, VAG parts or even eBay if you see one. Think someone has posted pics in the past of how to fit it. Do a little hunt on here and see.

2) If you have an armrest in the middle (can't remember if the SE has one or not, sorry) you can actually buy a module that sits inside it that will hold two cups/cans. Again, Audi or VAG parts, but I have definitelly seen these on eBay quite often.

Regards, and good luck.

Si

(PS - Post a pic of your dash so everyone can see the situation to give some ideas!)
