Saw my first S3 in the states yesterday
Attended a local Audi gathering in Washington state USA yesterday - mostly S4's and TT's. What's the first car I notice - a dark blue S3! Story goes the car was bought in by H&R then later sold.
My point here is that there could have been a new Ferrari there and I still would have gone up to the S3 first. Cool litte car!!

I now see A3s all the time in L.A.
They aren't shy about hiding them at all. Either they are being used as powertrain mules for EPA testing, or they plan to bring them over.
Would people consider this competitive with the new little Merc C Class hatchback ... I mean coupe? (Don't ever use the h word around MB corporate types, it's considered the kiss of death for US sales).
