I'm thinking of going with the OZ Ultralegga (?) that come in black, but I really wanted to get a set in dark-grey. Any other rims that come in the dark grey color?
I wanted Hartmann to powder coat, but they don't offer it![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Thoughts? Pics?
thx

My silver A3 has anthracite (gray) 17" OZ Records & it looks very nice. Purposefull, a bit roughish, bad-boy and altogether seems like a nice alternative to shiny silver wheels. To me black would swallow up the car. No doubt gray wheels are an aquired taste. I'd go w/ BBS RGR's if not for the $$$$
good luck

Do you have more pictures of your wheels on the car? Do the wheels extend beyond the fenders? I'm thinking of going with 18" instead but I'm concern of how it would look with the stock sport height and the 40 ET offset. Yeah I decided to reinstall my stock sport springs, I have too many speed bumps near my house and the car scrapes on all of them! Also it's quite a coincidence you'll be in San Juan on the 26th, because I'm the Audio/Video contractor for a new restaurant in Old San Juan and I'm scheduled to start installing on the 26th! And BTW your car looks amazing!

I will be going to El Yunque in the morning and then I will be in old town all afternoon. I doubt you'd drive that kind of a car around as a work vehicle, but I'll keep my eyes peeled!
About the car. So I have KWVariant2's with really good bumpstops, and I almost never scrape. I also hit the many, many speed bumps in my condo complex in a slow diagonal fashion. Works out cool, so far. The rims do not protrude out past my fenders. They sit about an 1/8" in as a matter of fact. Perfect travel distance. Here are some mo pics for you.

Or go two tone black and chrome like these. You'll be the only guy on the block with these if you got them.

that's one of the reason I decided to go sport stock height again. Were did you buy yours from? I called Tire Rack and the guy told me 17" were a guarantee fit but not 18"?? I checked the specs at the Rial website and the 17",18", and 19" all have a 40 et offset. My only concern is that since they will be closer to the edge of the fender maybe the wheel gap will be more accentuated. I know I sound obsessed with the wheel gap but it looked so freaking awesome with the Eibachs! Another wheel option I discovered are the BBS CO, they are basically a BBS CH without the Motorsport inscription. There also considerably less expensive compared to to the CH ($300 vs. $450) But I have to admit the Nogaros are incredible! Let me know who you got them from so I can give them a call. Thanks!
