Default So I raced a chevy trail blazer SS off the line in my 3.2......

I new I was probably going to loose since that SUV has a 400 horse corvette LS1 motor but I raced him anyways for ****s and giggles. I had him till about 30mph then his big motor took over. If I had 50 more horses he might of been mine, or if we were in snow. I wish the 3.2 was more stout of a motor like the nissan g35 or z motor. Anyways had it been my ford he was racing, he would of been toast.

Default Sometimes just for giggles hubby or I will race each other with the Ferrari and (stock) 2.0T.

No, it's never a contest, but it's fun to see "the sled" go into warp mode :-)

Default I raced a Charger SRT8 Hemi and beat him in all three runs!.

Last Friday night. I think once he figures out how to launch better, he'd have me. He was really disapointed since he upgraded the exhaust and intake. My quickest run against him was 14.01 with a trap of 103. The most I beat him by was 0.13 and the least was 0.04. Even with my FWD, I jumped out ahead at the start and he just couldn't close the gap. Last year he had me on every run. This time my changes were exhaust, intake, and race fuel

Default A Tacoma was riding my ***, on a two lane which opened to a three lane at a light

The light was red, and when it turned green, he floored it. He had like two lengths on me but I went for it anyway and passed him. Actually I was surprised I caught him.

Default It's sort of besides the point, but I raced a stock Yugo on my BMX bike when I was a kid and...

... I fvcked his ash up! Homie was this Afghanishtan dude and he seemed sort of bummed that an 11 year old on a Sears bought Huffy could smoke him from a stand still.

Default If there is any kind of tunnel or enclosed space, only the Ferrari will do! :-)

But it is still teh suk at being a daily driver ;-) The A3 makes that part painless and sometimes even amusing. And those comparitively skinny tires and fwd mean it's harmless in rain.

Oh, and if you think it will help pick up (non-gold-digger) chix, think again. Seems only boys and young men are interested according to hubby when he drives it;-)

Default but isnt there a power to weight issue that helps us over the SUVs?

And their crappy tires?
