Default So I walk out to my car this afternnoon to find that.....

Somebody backed into my car cracking my chrome grill surround and my center grill slightly. What would you do? Get a stock S-Line grill? Or get an aftermarket grill? If so what aftermarket grill would you get? ABT LLTek Oettinger? Your comments are greatly appreciated.

What color is your car? Perhaps get a stock blackout grill?

Default I did way back and ordered black grill/surround/plate delete for about $230 from vagparts.com but...

i don't think they carry them anymore and requires removal of the front bumper.

Default Front bumper removal is pretty easy.

And ECS Tuning has them, or did recently. That's where I got mine.

Default ESC tuning ahhh thanks. Question. Is the chrome grill surround a different piece then the

center main grill? If so I can get away with just replacing the chrome surround.

Default Yes.

And if you come across the Fourtitude post on how to do the swap without removing the bumper, DON'T DO IT! is my recommendation.

Here's a bumper removal how-to. It's a lot of fasteners (mostly for the belly pan), but straightforward. If you don't have an electric screwdriver and Torx bits, get set up.</li

Default I concur...remove the bumper when doing this. It might take a little more time but you...

prevent any possibility of breaking stuff. And believe me, the guy that removed it w/o removing his bumper broke his chrome trim. I don't think he mentioned it though. I only know b/c I bought it from him since I didn't need the chrome trim.

<a href="http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=214407& chapter=ERA1311&appSectionid=53501&groupid =51820&subgroupid=6376&componentid=3094&am p;make=2&model=A3&year=2007&a
