Default Bwahahaha! Say, I want a hit of your crack pipe - it must some good stuff! ;-P

Thanks.

I know the forums are weighted heavily by consumer experience, and I try to inject a sense of what it is like to work the other side so hopefully a happy medium is achieved:-)

Default Manufacturer-to-Dealer incentive, that's how I got below invoice...

As I'm sure many on this forum know, manufacturers will sometimes offer cash discounts to dealers on certain makes and models of vehicles.

There happened to be an incentive at the dealer I purchased from through the end of March. Because of the incentive, I was able to purchase the car below invoice. The report I got from Car Bargains flagged the incentive, and I made the deal with that dealer. The best offer from any other dealers in the area was $500 over invoice, so either they weren't offered the incentive, or weren't saying it was available. Made my choice of dealer pretty easy.

And I'm fairly certain that the dealer didn't lose money on the deal regardless of the incentive.

That incentive applied on to certain cars and certain dealers. Hardly something anyone can do now

Default I special ordered mine. I was told I would have had a better deal if I took one off the lot.

My 3.2Q

MSRP $38,885
Invoice $36,091

I paid $37,000 + $385 dealer doc fee + tax, title, license

Totaled about $40,500

Good salesperson and no hitch deal.
