If you're proud of what you've done and you love what you've done, it doesn't matter what other people say. Besides, they were commenting on the car, not you. It's okay for people to state their opinion on what they see, and for every person who likes your car, there will be people who don't. That's just how it is.

I appreciate the work you've put into your car. I love the back end, but I'm not into the skid skirts or lip because they don't look integrated enough for me. But that's me, and I want my car to be stealthy, as my supercharged A4 is right now.

It's all about staying cool and taking people's comments in stride.

Find me a flat black painted plate that is not photoshop enhanced somewhere on the internet, or better yet in Europe. Then post up a picture so everyone can see how unoriginal I am. Whats more, is when someone challenges you to put your money where your mouth is and back up a statement, for integrity sake you need to respond.
