Default sport seats uncomfortable

Today I was stuck in traffic for about 1 hour stop and go. I felt that the seat bottom bolster was too tight and constricting especially on my left leg. I have a 2.5 hour drive tomorrow down the NJ parkway, with shore traffic it may be 3+ hours and for the first time I am not looking forward to driving my A3. I may try and bring a cushion to lift my legs above the side bolsters but this could be a major issue for me. Anyone else have this issue? Also should the driver side seat on the sports pack have the storage under the seat like the passenger side?

No, I've never heard of storage underneath the driver's seat. I think a lot of people share your opinion regarding the comfort of the sport seats, particularly the bolsters on the seat bottom. It does seem to be a bit limited in space. The car mags have pretty much all said the same thing.

Default Storage under the driverseat a few people have mentioned

If I had to guess it would be with the storage package that also has the pocket on the side of the center console and I think seatbacks.

I found when I first got the car teh bolsters were a little intrusive.. I simply moved the seat back slightly and my legs were not V'd out as much and didn't restrict me. I had to do similar on my jetta when I ditched the stock seats and put some GTI seats in which had much larger bolsters. I normally drive pretty close and since I'm tall my legs are pretty v'd

Default Somebody with a base car might be able to tell us, but my convenience

package car does not have the storage bin in the driver's seat. Maybe it's the power seat and the range of adjustment available. As for position,

have you tried this?

Default I would have thought the same as for storage package.

But maybe not.

Default Thanks for the input

I'll give that a try. I had tried to rest my left foot on the right side of the dead pedal so that my legs were not V'd so much. I had driven a 4 hour round trip in one day with no issues before but I was not stuck in traffic, so maybe that points to bad seating position while using the clutch. I also played a soccer game Tuesday night and usually back/legs muscles are feeling sorer a couple of days later.

Default I don't have an A3 but with my experience on seats it takes a long time for the body to adjust and

break into these new pressure points. stiffer suspension makes matters worse.
