Hi all,

Has anyone had the lower bumpers bodycolored on their 1.8T sports? i am going to get the front lighting upgrade from VAG parts but want it bodycolored and while im at it i might aswell ge the rear bumper bit done too. How much will t cost for spraying???

Dont know about cost, but i was going to get that front upgrade too but wasnt sure as I'd only do it if I could get an oem type switch for it. What are you planning to do?

Welli cant see a reason why you cant just wire it into the switch for the front fogs in the headlight unit... is this not possible? if not, i might just get a OEM switch for it... doesn't really matter what its for as long as it is the same as the others.
Will make it look well sweet tho... especially when its all color coded.

What do you mean by ' front lighting upgrade' & how old is your car?

i dont mean the light units.. i mean the front fogs in the lower bumper. The phase 1 models dont come with em. mine is 1998 R reg. all it is it the lower bumper from the phase 2 with the fog light units. and a few extra bits for fiting.

I had the original ower bumper painted and also installed a pair of Hella Fog Lights, with custom made black fiber caps... (can´t see them very well in the pic, but they looked great!)....
Go for the painted bumper, dude... they all told me "where did you buy that spoiler"..heheh
