Squeaky noise when I brake
I've had my 07 2.0T for about four months. Still brand new. I hear this squeaky noise from the front when I press firmly on the brakes. It occasionally happens. On top of that my brakes are a bit mushy. Do I need new brake pads? Doesn't make sense since my car only has 5000k on it.

Mushy pedal is normal...brakes are actually pretty good...mushy feel is
something due to the brake booster.
As far as the noise...possibly some sort of deposit on the pad?
