squealing clutch
Hi all
I have a a3 audi s line quattro 2lt with 6 speed box. The cluth started squealing which got quite loud took it to a mechanic and he said its the cluth and minimum £1200 to replace.
I replaced the concentric slave bearing, preasure plate and friction disc on weekend everything fine and tonight on deaccelerate or idling with clutch out there is a whistling or squeal noise which is not as loud but noticable.
Any ideas and could this be the dual mass fly wheel. My money was on slave bearing as cltch pedal could affect it but we still have the noise.
