Has any one else experienced this? Its only on the drivers recaro in an '02 S3. It doesnt seem to be the seat but the bracket underneath.I took it to an Audi dealer they apparently couldnt fault it. It squeeks as soon as you sit in it, so I am unsure how they came to that conculsion. They seemed as if they didnt want to get involved. It's driving me mad. Does anyone have any suggetions?

I had that, if your seat is right to the floor, on the lowest hight it will go, try lifting it up a bit. If this doesnt work, try WD40'ing the tracks under the seat.

Hi there,
I had the exact same problem on my passenger seat recently. It was fine when I was in the car on my own, but as soon as someone got in the seat and the car was moving, it would constantly squeek.
As I don't normally have people in the car too often I had left it for a while, but last week it drove me mental.
So, lift the seat forward and spray liberly with WD40 at all the brakets and in the grooves and it fixed it first time. Do be aware that it took about a week for the smell of the WD40 to get out of the car.
Roy.
