Default Stern Rear Subframe Brace *-Preorder Sale-*

<img src="http://www.purems.com/images/fullsize/sternlogo_small.jpg">
This rear subframe brace is part of the new stern line of performance products for the Audi and VW vehicles. This bar installs on the rear subframe and improves the stiffness by triangulating the rear suspension control arms to the subframe. This improvement can be felt with more crisp steering response, more secure handling through corners, and better response when combined with larger aftermarket anti-roll bars.

This bar is a direct fit and requires no drilling or other modifications to the subframe. It provides great clearances with aftermarket anti-roll bars and aftermarket exhaust systems. Comes complete with all necessary hardware, and a great satin black powder coated finish for durability.

Features:
- Improves handling &amp; steering response
- Reduces chassis/subframe flex
- Powder coated for durability
- Quick &amp; Easy installation

How much of an effect is there on ride? Does it decrease bump dampening?

Default No effect on damping rates, those are determined by the shocks.

No noticeable impact on daily driving comfort. The difference improvement is felt during cornering. Less flex in the subframe provides more positive feeling in the subframe, better grip, and more stability.

Tired? Are you on the far end of the modding curve with your A3?

Default Big Daddy Kane would approve!

Like I said in an earlier post, I am a bit disappointed in how loose my rear-end feels. It behaves as though it's been ridden raw-dog for like 39K miles.

I hope this makes someone vomit. Holla`atcha boy.

Something you feel in normal day to day driving, or more geared towards track cornering?
