Sunglasses Holder
This has been asked before, but I don't think there's ever been an answer!
Can you replace the driver's grab handle with the sunglasses holder found in the Beetle, Bora etc? I've heard it fits in the A4, so maybe someone can tell me if the A4 and A3 handles are the same.

YES, IIRC I replaced mine with that of a Bora. If you don't get an answer before lunch, I'll look for the part number. My A3 is a 2001 model. I believe earlier models had different bolt spacing and had to get a different holder.

Since they don't make the holder for the A3, you might not get one in the same color as your headliner. Mine's about as close as I could get it, and it's not as obvious as it is in the pics.
