Put an order on Sports package silver but do not want the 16 spoke wheels. Anybody have any insight on whether dealer can swap optional tires with standard ones?

I'm being told that the only way it can be done is if standard car is sold around the same time and that client agrees to trade tires.

Maybe stupid question but doesn't dealer have extra tires at the dealership? Need to know how much I can push the issue.

them up from their supplier as needed. We would swap with another car on the lot if it didn't mean downgrading the car not presently being sold, but we did not swap for wheels/tires that had to be ordered unless the client paid for that service.

I'm sure somebody who already bought an A3 would want sport package wheels and tires for their non-sport wheels and tires.
