TCM location?
Where is the TCM located on a 2010 A3 Quattro with the DSG transmission?
It's getting intermittent "lost communication with TCM" codes. Car enters limp mode and occasionally flashes the gear indicator. Turning on and off the car has always fixed the issue. But the other day that didn't work. A couple of hours later though it started up fine and seemed totally normal. Today I did the hold-accelerator-turn-ignition-on-etc. thingy. After that it was actually shifting quite a bit better than it ever has.
But I still wanted to check the connections to the TCM to make sure there isn't damage or corrosion but I'm not sure where it is.
