my rear fog light is now activated.
If you recall we had the longest thread on this topic as short while ago. Well, I am happy to report that Ryan and I have stumbled upon the right lighting cluster part number for those of us that have Bi-Xenons, front fogs, Comming-Home and DRLs and want rear fog lights. If you have an 8P1 941 531 AL switch cluster, you need to purchase an 8P1 941 531 AK-5PR cluster. This will provide the double fog switch pull-out for activating front+rear fog lights (*You may need to VAG the computer to activate the circuit as well - I did). Ryan and I purchased our light clusters from www.vagparts.com. I can't say enough about the service - impeccable.
Halogen lights w/o DRLs
8P1 941 531 AC -> 8P1 941 531 F-5PR
Bi-Xenon lights with DRLs
8P1 941 531 AL -> 8P1 941 531 AK-5PR<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a3/msgs/36136.phtml">Original thread with pictures</a></li></ul>

and the "coming home" button, then you should have the 8P1 941 531 AC 5PR switch (regular Xenons or halogens get the same switch), so the 8P1 941 531 F 5PR should suffice. If you don't have auto headlights or coming home, it would depend on which switch you currently have--and what you'd like to be able to do......

post the part number you have and we can sort it out. follow the steps provided by RyanA3 in his original post to remove the switch.
Make sure you access to a VAG if you plan to do the conversion. Not all cars have the curcuit activated. Installing the new switch is just half the battle.
