Default Tomasz...Give me a little more explanation of your opinion on sway bars. (Small vs big)

I'm having a 22mm H&R rear put on tomorrow, I was going to put their 24 on but it was a 2 month wait. I was disapointed that I was getting the smaller one...maybe you can make me feel better. )

Default Was there a difference in wall thickness between the two?

Depending on the wall thicknesses of each it is quite possible there is only a subtle difference between each bar's stiffness, and the extra 2 mm diameter is geared more towards a sales pitch and less towards actual added stiffness and improved driving characteristics. And, as Tomasz alluded to, you really should setup your suspension for what the car will be doing. If your car is going to be on the streets the majority of the time you don't want to put a track-based suspension setup on your car, it'll drive you nuts and also can be unsafe.

Default Not sure...The shop I went to said that the 22 on the hardest setting

isn't even as hard as the 24 on soft. I'm glad I went with the 22...on hard it's plenty firm enough for me. This is the first time I've done a rear sway on a car...feels a little like a go-cart now....seems to turn alot quicker. I can't wait to see what a difference it makes at the track.

Default Well, think about it this way...

Stronger bar will make the car feel more like it has a solid axle. So when you go through a bumpy corner the wheel that is unweighted will have a tendency to go up in the air or at least will loose some grip. In a bumpy corner your rear will skip more. On another hand the car will lean less.
