Default For those who are wondering...

I don't know if I am the only one who wonders what cars on the road, an A3 can mash on, here's what I found out last night. I got involved in a little street race on a nearly abandoned road. Some toilet, in a heavily modded Scooby WRX came up on me like a bat outta hell. he got next to me and pulled real good for about a 1/8 mile. I dropped hammers on him at around 140 and by 150 he was a distant memory! This is not meant to be boastfull it is completely scientific and deals in matters of speed Vs. distance. I fancy myself a budding aerodynamics scholar. By the way this was done late night on interstate 5 with zero people on the road.

Moral o' the story: The TFSI with a little modification is no joke!

FYI, Scoobys seem to be geared for quick starts, but don't seem to have much power left up top.

Me agrees with that statement. Those damned things are noisey as heck too. Let's face facts, off the line there are many stock rigs out there that would give us a run, but top speeds is where the A3 shines. Holds like an utter champion. Quality action!
