Default Wow....you'de think it would cost them more to swap cars than change the lights.

I'd be extremely pleased. Nice to see them take care of it.

Default Take the best possible solution and multiply it by 10.

Next time I go to negotiate a purchase of any kind - be it a persian rug, a car or a toothpick - I'm calling you! Way to go.

The dealership is just lucky you didn't insist on Murano green.

Default Actually, my dealer told me...

That it would cost anywhere between 10k-15k for the dealer to do the HID for you (with labor and whatnot).

Maybe he was just blowing smoke to get me into the car that I really wanted (and it worked , but I'm sure they'd rather not throw away 10k (or whatever) on light mods, as opposed to the swap where they at least get a (slightly) used car back to sell.

qfrog posted the financials a while ago. Nothing like that expensive, but sure not cheap.
