Take the best possible solution and multiply it by 10.
Next time I go to negotiate a purchase of any kind - be it a persian rug, a car or a toothpick - I'm calling you! Way to go.

Actually, my dealer told me...
That it would cost anywhere between 10k-15k for the dealer to do the HID for you (with labor and whatnot).
Maybe he was just blowing smoke to get me into the car that I really wanted (and it worked
, but I'm sure they'd rather not throw away 10k (or whatever) on light mods, as opposed to the swap where they at least get a (slightly) used car back to sell.
