Default I have 'em and love 'em! They have served me well so far...

only put about 6k on them so far...still have plenty of meat on them! They grip very well. Some complain of road noise...i havent noticed any more than ordinary.

Keep in mind that KDW's tend to run a bit wide....IMO 235's would be out of the question.

Default I had KDW's on one of my Miatas and they had great grip. A bit greasy when hot

and anything lower than 40F they had poor traction. They were also louder, kind of a "rumbly" sound that was irritating with the top down.

But when hitting the curves, wow, they really shined!

Default My original Pirellis were replaced at 20k with General UHPs. At 45k, I

looked at the F1s, T1Rs, and KDWs, but in the end, I bought another set of the less expensive Generals.

The only complaints I seem to hear about the Generals is that they have a soft sidewall that makes turn-in less crisp, etc. My base A3 never sees the track, so I saw no reason to spend the extra money on the stiffer sidewall, especially if that sidewall is prone to damage, as is seems to be on the F1.

IMHO, the Generals perform well in the wet, are grippy enough for a little fun in the dry, and are very quiet. Enough buyers complained about the noise of the KDWs for me to rule them out (the drone of the Pirellis was still fresh in my memory). That left only the T1Rs and the Generals...did I mention that I'm a cheap bastard?

Default I also replaced P6s with General UHP at 18k. They are very quiet and comfy.

and they grip the road like crazy.. Soft sidewall is not an issue for my driving style. I put 37f/33r..
