The covered oil changes are at 5k, 15k, 25k, 35k, and 45k

The manual states oil changes only need to be done every 10k miles, so if you want the ones in between you pay.

Why are people not taking advantage of the "free" scheduled service at 5k, 25k, 25k, etc. Why pay $100.

Free service yes; free engine, no.

I am "taking advantage" of the free services. But letting the oil go 10k in a turbo is a bad idea and may shorten engine life. Long after the "pain" of a $64 oil change is gone, and long after the free services end, I don't want to be paying for a premature engine job or turbo replacement.
