I am an owner of an A3 1.6 audi model of 1998. I am thinking of installing a turbo. What turbo i can use and what other things i need (intercooler,etc) to take. I know that the best thing is to replace my engine with a 1.8T, but i prefer to install a turbo right now. (because of financial problems).

There are many companies that will install turbo's aftermarket as well as intercoolers etc. It is probably less risky for them to do it for you, but try and recommend a turbo to them before they install it. Maybe try and get a turbo & intercooler off a wrecked/crashed A3? Maybe try calling a few insurance companies and ask them where they send cars that have been written off in accidents.
