Default Update: sun shade latch

Just got back from the Audi dealer, they replaced the sun shade latch. The part number is: SPO 8P4 877 307 B 78W its suppose to be improved. I dropped the car off at 10 a.m. and got the call it was ready at 12:30 p.m.; that's fast service considering the dealership is Audi-Porsche-VW...oh wait...make that Audi-Porsche-VW-Lotus dealership.

They just got a fleet (8 to 10)Lotus cars in. I got a chance to speak to a couple of guys in the British group that accompanied the cars. Those cars are very small, tight and high; $48,000 +. They look like they're designed for the track only. Some of them were wearing Yokohoma Advan. street tires and some of them were wearing Yokohoma Advan. street slicks.

P.S. I got a 2006 Jetta as a loaner this time instead of a 2006 Audi A6. I wish they could have put me in a Porsche loaner but I think they generally try to get you in the brand group you purchased. I saw a A3 courtesy car parked in front when I picked my car up.

My sunshade latch is broken, 300 miles....the dealer says to me "yours is the first we've seen!" Theres been a TSB for a month. I told him, get out there and sell some A3's!
In on Sat for repair. Thanks for the new #.
