Hello everybody. I have a 2009 a3 2.0t and am looking to do some upgrades. I have been suggested to do a cold air intake and and exhaust system. I've been told that injen makes a good intake. I am trying to do an exhaust that sounds nice but not incredibly loud. Is running a down pipe without anything else bad on the car? Will it effect the life of the engine? Or lose power?

injen intakes suck..so do most others..there are only a couple that really work well, APR and AWE are the only two I know of that are worth it and work. exhaust system depends on if your awd or fwd, and how much sound you like.

What would you suggest for front wheel drive?

Awe has the piping diameter worked out...I would go with them. APR is more if your going stage 2+ or more due to the 3 inch diameter.
