Using 5X100 Rims

I understand the A3's have a 112 offset. I have some RS4 100 offset rims that I'd like to go with. How much would handling be affected

offset is not 5x112....that is the bolt pattern

offset stock on the a3 is 56mm.

IIRC there are adapters to fit 5x110 wheels on a 5x112 lugpattern. I, however, am not sure on that. I usually just get wheels that fit the car right.

Other guys might be able to chime in with more info on the adapters.
