Vag Com Software

Hi iv just purchased a vagcom usb for my pc and iv only got the software to install the cable. If any1 could help me with the software for the aplication so i can enter my cars ecu would be a great help.

Does the software work on a Mac?

I just purchased a new mac book pro laptop and was curiuos if the Vag Com software work with the OS Mac operating system.

not with OSX, but if you use boot camp and boot in windows, it will work.

you have two options:

-Get <a href="http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/">Parallels</a> and load windows.

-Get <a href="http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/">BootCamp</a>

Then pick your poison (Win2k or WinXP)

Also, for those with Powerbooks and iBooks, using M$ Virtual PC with a Serial VAG cable and a usb-to-serial adapter will work (although some of the adapters work better than others).
