The answer is probably as simple as the name suggests, but if I understand correctly, there is a form of Xenon that has a blinder that covers the upper half of the bulb which creates the low beam. When brights are selected, the blinder is lifted, thus high beams. Do bi-xenons work the same way, one bulb for low and brights and the second bulb is running lights or something, or is one bulb low and the other bulb brights?

I believe you're right. The interior light is DRL. And the xenons are shared.

Flapped Xenon low beam and halogen highbeam with another plain bulb for DRL (daytime running lights?)? (3 bulb + Turn signal setup as opposed to current 2 bulb + Turn signal setup?)
What's the bulb on the far left of that set, Ryan? Signal indicator?
