The pictures I have seen posted of lava grey look a lot darker. I am ready to pull the trigger but just need to pick the color.

Lava Gray seams a lot darker in reality, almost like ebony pearl effect used to look like

I agree. Lava gray is darker than in the photos, but then again, the gray interior is darker than int he photos, too.
