What does this new mod piece offer in terms of performance?
Torque, HP's more engine stability? I read the description on this page, yet it seems vague to me.

Chipped 2.0T engines develop more boost than the stock diverter valve was designed to handle.
When this happens, the diaphragm in the valve ruptures and the intake loses pressure from the turbo. This part is supposedly designed for higher pressures.

So is it possible that it will just end up containing the pressure, that my engine might possibly be losing if it is indeed ruptured? Which could result in rediscovering a bit of lost power?

I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS NEW DIVERTER VALVE AND MY REVO BACK. Wide open throttle, here I come...WOOHOO!!!! GO FORGE!!!! =)
