What is the ECM flash recall about?
I just took my car (2.0T A3) in for the 40 000kms service and they flashed an ECM because of some recall. Anyone know anything about it?

To prevent spurrious ECLs:
"This RVU has been proactively released to prevent and correct the following condition from occurring in the

I was having random misfires
on cylinder #2 which was cause the CEL to come on. I took it in twice and they couldn't find the problem, other than it was a random misfire on cylinder #2, but the car was fine to drive. They scheduled me for an appointment so I could leave it with them and get a loaner. I took it back to them this last Tuesday and they called me and let me know about this recent recall. They went ahead and flashed the ECM and said that it could have been the cause of the misfires.
