besides. when you get in ANY new car, the imaging and brightness levels, among other things... take a bit longer than 30 seconds to adapt to.
madonna's latest cd, club type music, is a great sample of mid bass which is what I like.

Does the Nav+ with SD cards:
1. Play uncompressed AIFF files for full CD-quality?
2. Play video (TV, ripped DVDs, or video Podcasts)? (OK, granted, he has a Nano, but still...)
3. Seamlessly subscribe/update/sync Podcasts?
4. Fit in your pocket or backpack when you're on a flight, or skiing, or at your g/f's parents' house and desperately need to block out the sound of their voices?
5. Have multiple playlist options?
6. Shuffle by songs/by albums/by playlists?
6b. For that matter, shuffle/randomise in a non-retarded way at all?
7. Display the album art for the currently-playing track?
8. Display your favourite pr0n... err... family photos?
9. Have a dock that lets you click it into your home stereo?
No, it doesn't.
For me, it's mostly about the audio quality. My 30gig iPod has about 900 songs, almost all are 1411 kbps, 44.1kHz, 16-bit stereo, uncompressed AIFF. Even the best MP3 codecs have noticeably degraded sound, many MP3s are like nails on a chalkboard to me. The iPod gives me a large quantity of full quality music *and* it works with my steering wheel controls thanks to the DICE hookup.
