what VW/Audi Platform is the A3/S3 based on? Golf, Jetta?

It's the A-platform (same as Golf/Jeta/Audi TT)
B-platform (Audi A4, VW Passat)
C-platform (Audi A6)
D-platform (Audi A8, VW D1)
There is more:
A0-plaform (VW Polo)
A00-platform (VW Lupo)
I only listed the VW and Audi products. Seat and Skoda products are based on the same platforms but I don't think that this is of any interest

FYI: the Colorado will not share any significant parts with the A6/Passat V8. It is a new vehicle developed with the Porsche Cheyenne.
