Default Steve, mike@purems looked into it several months ago

And his conclusion was that in order to get the proper offset for the boxster caliper, the bracket would need to be incredibly thin to the point where it would not be structurally safe.

I am not 100% sure as to the specifics, so I suggest that you contact him if you want further information on what he found.

I too was looking at the same upgrade when I first purchased the car and was disappointed to hear the results of Mike's testing.

Default Brembos are $2,400, why not go for something specifically designed and built for the car.

Default Yeah...

I installed 332mm brembos on my DD A4. Though it was silly, but I would get some marketing out of it. I am never again going to keep OEM brakes... Brembos are that good.

If you lived in Seattle I would make you take the A4 for a spin.

My next car will either come with Brembos from the factory or is getting them installed after market.

Default hehe, you would have to come to chicago

I give rides at track events. Honestly I would love a set of brembos for the A3 but it is overkill for the cost on my street car. I have front and rear Alcons on the A4 so I know all about the benefits of the BBK.
