doesn't seem to do any harm as it has happened a couple of times with no apparent damage. just curious what it is that is making the noise.

hold down the esp button for a few seconds for a "hard" off.

if u only press it momentarily, it's just off. and not fully off.

now that it's cold... 1. your turbo is happy. and 2. your tires are teh suckage

car vibrating.. going up and down al ittle?

Wheel hop.. EDL which can't be shut off is aplying the brakes to whatever wheel is spinning faster..

This causes the suspension to load up then it evens out regains traction and the suspension snaps back.. then slips again brakes apply agan.. goes on and on until you back off the throttle.

mounts as it rotates in low traction? And isn't the reason for a dogbone insert: to reduce that bang sound? Seems to me like it's wheel hop. And since my A3 is FWD, the whole front end bangs...

I guess I've been wrong about this for an entire year :shrugs: LOL!
