I have concerns about the ride quality since it's an S Line and lowered 2.5 cm than normal suspension. other than that looks great :-)
You all enjoy your cars.

I wouldent say it was severely firm. Try dropping the car 2 inchs and then drive it. Thats severely firm.

all. There are so many deep dips and sever inclines that would chew up the front of a lower A3. Note:I am mostly talking about San Diego C.A. In Europe the roads are more even and smother to. To me, I can understand why.

When they performance-tune an econocar suspension, they don't have many options. When the suspension travels, its roadholding and handling are compromised faster than a suspension with more links. So they pick the best geometry they can adjust it to, and then they dial-out all the compliance to keep it there.
I suppose when you drive around in it for a while and enjoy the handling you become desensitized to the harshness. But when you give people rides in it you're going to be apologizing for the bumps.
Good handling and a sport suspension do not always imply "firm ride." The A3 sport is nearly supercar firm. And as good as it handles, it's no supercar.

I have SS here in Michigan, home of the roughest roads in North America, and while firm, the ride is surely tolerable over the worst surfaces.
I originally wanted the grandpa Cadillac suspension, but the sport seats are worth the sport trip. The cars though are like night and day. My friend has the A4 with SS and S-Line, and believes the A3 with SS is no worse for harshness. While I haven't had the opportunity to track this car yet, only having it 3 weeks, I can't comment on it's handling capability.
Merry Christmas to all!!!
