You all need to drive my lowered(apx.35mm)997S-with the Sport Setting on PASM-feels like a race car....it's stiff but does it handle! Wouldn't recomend driving on bad roads. The A3 is very compliant for a "Sport" suspension-as a matter of fact our Sport suspension here in the States feels like a normal Euro setup.

Re: "nearly supercar firm"?? no chance. try a Z4 3.0 Sport -- makes the A3 Sport seem plush.
I tried a 3.0l z4 with 18" and a s-line 2.0tfsi with non-audi 19".
the dynamics are different on both cars but the ride is very comfortable. it's firm but not hard/stiff as I was expecting. i was surprised that the a3 stayed on course very well even when i made it take sharp turns.
the suspension on the z4 were not the 'm' series.
OT: too bad z4 doesnt come with smg anymore. it was my first choice.
