Will a 2007 A3 w/Premium Audio Pkg Play MP3's?

Will a 2007 A3 w/Premium Audio Pkg Play MP3's?
GReetings.
I am a new owner of a 2007 A3 S-Line. What a fatastic car! I have tried a few MP3 CD's that work in my other car (honda civic) but, do not play in the Audi. The tracks come up and count minutes and seconds but no sound comes out. Could anyone with the same model let me know if their's plays MP3 disks?
