WillH+A3: Compare contrast leather in A3 v. EOS.

Ooo...good question.
My a3 has the upgraded two tone leather package (I forget the name and I didn't ask for it...I bought it pre-owned.)
The leather is very soft and pliable, the surface grain is very smooth. The driver's seat is starting to get wrinkles and creases from use. I don't have any signs of cracking, like others, but I can see why it happens. Due to the general non supportive seat bottom, they tend to be slippery in spirited driving.
The EOS by comparison has thick/stiff leather with a deeper grain. No signs of wear and tear (although not used as much). They're not as soft to the touch but seem very durable. The sport seats are great (wish I had them in the a3) The bolsters are much more supportive and you don't slide around.
If I'm judging the seat+leather combo, I like the EOS seats better.
Let me know if that's what you're looking for.

I noticed the leather in the '07 EOS was softer and a deeper texture to the grain. I actually pref. the leather in the '07 EOS compared to my '07 A3.
