i have a cable (for my ipod) that is long enough to reach from behind the radio to the armrest. i want to hide the cables so that they cannot be seen at all. does anyone have any experience with this? (or ideas if no experience)
thanks in advance!

I wired my iPod to the inside of the armrest. I had to take apart the whole armrest, it's not to difficult, just time consuming. Now I can leave the iPod connected when I leave the car and there is no evidence of it from the outside. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the process or I would post them.

I don't remember the specifics since I did it more than a year ago.
Start by removing the rear ashtray and the panel around it. From there you can remove the armrest, I think it's only one bolt holding it, I'm not 100% sure. It comes off with the hinge and everything.
I don't remember how I removed the covers on the sides of the hinge, but you need to do this to route the cable into the armrest storage. On one of the sides of the hinge (left I believe) you'll see it's shaped as if it was intended to have a cable routed through it.
You'll need to make a small hole on the plastic container inside the armrest to get the cable inside, and then putting it back together is pretty straight forward from what I remember.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
