Has anybody had problems when purchasing stuff from these people?

If so you are NOT the only one! You can never get hold of them and they are very quick to take your money!

I have heard a lot of good comments about vagparts and people who have been very happy with their service.

Just used them once and had no problems what so ever. Strange you are having problems contacting them. Time of year maybe?

I have always found them most helpfull Martyn has helped me out on the obscureist of parts and is very honest about any improvement a part will make.

I would urge you to bare with them as I know they are inundated with mails and calls and they are in the process of getting a new guy and more phone lines.

alot of the stuff has to be orderd in from germany and can take a while but it's definatly worth waiting for when you compare the price to an main dealer.

Neil,

See you have installed the Infinity Kappa 652.5i 17cm speakers in the rear passenger side panels. I've done the same and I'm thinking about the 50.5CS component set for the front doors. Have you installed them in the doors? I can get the adapter rings so I'm OK there, what exactly do you do with the passive crossover box? Do you glue it to the inside of the interior door trim?

I noticed you have Michelin tyres. I'm looking at new tyres and I've read the pilots can underperform, is that true, would you recommend them over Pirelli or the default Dunlops?

I got the autoleads adaptors for the front however I still needed to make up 6mm MDF spacer rings to get it to fit nicely.

i hid the crosover up under the insulating foam on the back of the door panel, it was a tight fit to get it back on but it makes a massive difference.

i am waiting till I can afford the Andy Mac stealth sub upgrade to replace the crappy original one and the pooey little amp for the rears:

if you want any more information then check out

as for the tyres i am no expert I had dunlops on my original 16" rims which I never had any trouble with, I used to get around 20,000 out of the fronts.

the michelins do look the mutts with the big V groove, and I have been told they are a harder compound so they should last longer.

the best are apparently the pirellis P-zero nero or the goodyear F1 but to be honest I have had no problems at all with the micelins and will probably stick with them when they need changing.

good luck, any other queries then drop me a post

Have ordered many times with them with great service and great prices. They have just moved premises and probably have a bit of a backlog.

Did you consider calling them for an update before posting?
