lights and I disagree, they are not vastly superior. Prove to me that they are. You're statment is a statement of opinion. That's cool. But don't march around thinking it's a 'fact' that xenons are better.
Oh and by the way, I own two cars with 'xenon' headlights only because they were 'standard equipment'. Thanks for making the typical audiworld discussion assumption though.
I won't get them again if I have a choice.

I don't make assumptions, unlike most on these internet boards.
I happen to own two cars with 'xenon' headlights.
I know full well what they are and what they do.
The headlights in the A3 are garbage.
Plus, they will loose their intensity will time, you'll see. Then you'll need to replace some pricey headlights.......

That is not subjective, but fact. A brightness meter will easily prove this. It's like the difference between crime lights and faded street lamps.
Fortunatly, the market demands that xenon be available so he's the exception not the rule.
I suppose in the future even a Neon will have xenon as the more obselete lighting technologies give rise to superior solutions.
