I drive it home. The key, WILL NOT, come out of the ignition. So they send over this thing; a Ford Escape. There was this old lady walking down the street, I could not keep up w her. I am so lost in this thing. controls are wacked. I cant reach into the door pocket, cause the seat is too close to the door. and many other treats. But, it looks like Wed.

Default The worst rent-a-car I ever had was a Chevy Impala after my TT was in an accident.

The TT handled better in the snow than that P.O.S. did on dry pavement.

Default It's astonishing that GM still makes cars that handle like land yachts... no wonder why

American car companies are in such turmoil. The "big car" midwest folks is the target market, and these days they're hanging onto their existing land yachts. The car rental, government use and taxi fleets are bulging with them... there's no more buyers!! Talk about companies that just won't adapt to the changing market. Doomed to die.

What's really sad is that for many years the American car makers were the leading innovators. They paved the way... then got lost in the swamp after a wrong turn (i.e. didn't listen to the sound of the coming oil crunch) and still can't seem to catch up. Sad.

I rented a Prius (only way Toyota can sell it?) and it broke down. Grabbed an American cab...
