Default A3 Cabriolet Seat
I have a 2015 A3 Cabriolet. Anybody know why Audi put a manual adjusted seat in this car instead of a power seat?

They told me it's to reduce weight... because the cabriolet has extra strengthened side sills due to no roof they needed the reduction in weight. Not a good reason if you ask me.

I would question that. I had a 2014 A5 Cab and it had power seats. I just figured Audi thinks the A3 is a lesser model.

That's what they told me... the sedan has power seats... It doesn't bother me... I'm the only driver.

Really bothers my wife who is so used to power seats and has a hard time rotating the wheel to adjust the back. BTW, your clear mount is working great.

I have power seats in my 2017 A3 Cab, except the reclining is manual. I assume that's to keep it quick for rear passenger exit/entry.
