Yep - turns out that is true after all and the web configurator was right. Also, the Canadian 2017 S3 order guide actually lists Magma seats as "NEW" which was another indicator they weren't just red inserts like previous years.

However, there seems to be a discrepancy between the order guide and the S3 web configurator. The former says a black headliner with Magma seats, but the latter says Rock Gray.

Anyway, the 2017 S3s are now on dealer lots in the GTA - I saw my first one in-person yesterday. Was a Panther Black which I wasn't a fan of personally. Otherwise the facelift looks great.

Disappointing though to see Audi is going with "S" rather than "S3" badging for the seats and calipers.

if getting an S3 the mag ride is a big plus. the b+o stereo is better than the crap bose I was stuck with in my previous 2 leased infiniti's but the mark levinson is better than the b+o in my opinion. of course that was an LS so it should be better given that its the top line lexus sedan. currently in a loaner 2017 A4 which feels much bigger than my S3 but its also much more luxurious even though its basically a premium model as opposed to my prestige S3

Also, as discussed 3 posts back, can you confirm the headliner color with your Magma red seats?

I'm in Quebec, technik trim + Advanced handling package (19inch wheel + magnetic ride) and painted red caliper + magma red interior. For the headliner I didn't pay attention to that but I think it's grey..

Production Complete : 09/23/2013 (ETA)
Ship Departure : 10/14/2016 (ETA)
Domestic Port Arrived : 10/31/2016 (ETA)
Released to Carrier : 11/16/2016 (ETA)

I already ask my dealer to signed me for MyAuditracker.ca but they told me it’s not reliable and stuff like that. They said they will keep me posted on every change on my status instead.
Leave me with the impression that they don’t know how to use the site 

I got the same BS from my Canadian dealer.....The UK version is very accurate!!!
The Canadian version apparently is run by the dealers, therefore make your own assumption to why it is not reliable. My dealer gave me a snapshot of order and ETA process-build,ship, delivery, etc. ETA info. I will then ask him for an update at each point up to Halifax arrival. Then the real fun starts- weather, customs, rail departure, rail arrival, trucking etc.
