Default Can i connect Android AUTO to MMI?

I'm trying to connect the mobile to MMI via the Android AUTO app using the USB cable, but nothing happens...

Could you help me to understand if my MMI is compatible?

MMI
- In the home screen of MMI, it says "Phone" and not "Smartphone"
- Under the armrest there is a USB port (charge only) and an AUX port.

maybe try a different USB cable, they're not all equal. I have Android Auto working from the USB port in my armrest all the time, and sometimes from the USB port above the cup holders.

What it writes at the start screen of your MMI? PHONE or SMARTPHONE?

with the phone plugged in, it shows "Android Auto" on the MMI home screen. I'm assuming you have Android Auto installed on your phone?
