I have been using Clearmounts since I bought my 2017 a3 and I absolutely love it! I have a Samsung phone with inductive charging, and planning to swap my IP7 for a newer model with wireless charging as well. I did not quite like the solution with side holders that Clearmounts offered me, so I opted to make my own.
Found this wireless charger for around 25USD and mounted it to the original CM holder instead of the magnet. The cable can be routed nicely inside the trim spacing and it look stock enough. Here are some photos:
Finished mod Protective felt on the behind, just in case it flexes and touches the dash. Not visible from any angle. Installed Phone while charging
Nicely done! How did you get the phone to attached to the wireless pad without a magnet? Does the charging pad have a magnet? Does your phone have a magnet in the back?

The pad itself has a ring of magnets on the outside and a charging coil inside. I already have the CM sticky metal plate for the iPhone and it holds the phone on this charger. I did get the sticky metal plate with a hole inside and leather cover that works with phones that support inductive charging, here is a pic. Galaxy S7 Edge seems to marginally stick without anything attached.
How did you mount the induction charger to the clear mount?
I removed the included magnet, epoxied a screw to the inductive charger and tightened it with a nut. Looks stock, and that was very important to me. I ran the cable behind the buttons for drive select and hazard lights, under the steering column, and into the fuse box later, so the lighter is still free.
