The "convenient" part of my convenience key appears to have stopped working! I can unlock using the buttons on the fob but cannot open by just pulling on the handle. The locking part was still working but even that appears intermittent now. Just wondered if others had experienced this problem. If so is there a simple reset that can be done? Luckily I have the car scheduled for the 25k service on Friday so hopefully the dealer can fix this for me.

How cold is it out? It's a common problem that it won't work when the weather goes below freezing.

Ironically today is the first time it has got above freezing for over a week!!! Current temps are in the mid 30s.

I noticed sometimes it gets frazzled and won't unlock, just lock. Then after that sometimes the car won't recognize the key the first time I try to start the car. Later when I use it after driving and parking, its fine.
