Hi all, Been having problems with my heater blower recently. Have changed the fuse and the blower itself so the last thing to change is the resistor. However I can not seem to locate where the resistors is hidden behind the glovebox. Is there a secret hidden area that i'm not seeing? Reg start is GV14 if that helps Audi A3 model.
Many thanks
Steve

I have the same question. Where is the Heater blower resistor pack?
Car is Audi A3 Sportback, 1.6 Reg 2009 BSE. The blower only works on max speed. The blower is part no 1K2 819 015A by Valeo and only has a 2 wire feed and no sign of any resistors. Where on earth is the resistor pack located?
I guess it requires cooling so I imagine it is in the ducting somewhere.
Any clue would be appreciated before I end up stripping the entire dash to find it.
Thanks in anticipation.

Found it:
It is next to the cabin filter. So that's behind the glove box, remove by hand the 2 plastic screws securing the flimsy foam sheet concealing the bottom of the cabin filter housing. The resistor pack is just your side of the cabin filter.
